Please follow the guidelines below to extend an invitation to the International President & CEO of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. Requests will be answered within 30 days of receipt of the request.

Thank you for your interest in inviting the International President & CEO to participate in your event. The Corporate Office staff routinely receives a large volume of e-mail, invitations and requests. To ensure timely processing, we ask that you utilize the form below to submit invitations/requests to attend your event or submit written messages.

Please submit requests/invitations based upon the following guidelines. Requests that do not comply with the guidelines, are incomplete, or do not contain sufficient information will not be fulfilled.

Protocol Notes

The International President & CEO considers speaking engagements, other Sorority and public activities to be within the scope of her official duties.   If the request is for an Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® event, please use the Alpha Kappa Alpha Protocol Guide regarding guest appearances and speaker requests of the International President & CEO to direct you.

If the request is for a public event not sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, please contact the International Communications Chairman directly for protocol guidance at AKAChampioncomms@aka1908.com. Planning and Logistics details will be discussed upon acceptance of the in-person engagement.

In-Person Events

Submit your invitation/request within a minimum of 90 days in advance of the in-person event.

Written Greetings

Submit requests for written greetings/proclamations no later than 6-8 weeks in advance of your event. Requests for written greetings are limited to one (1) per month, per requesting individual/organization. Requests for multiple greetings, such as in-person and written, must be submitted separately and must meet guidelines for the required information as listed above. Fundraisers and cotillions are not eligible for written greetings.

Video Greetings

Submit requests for video greetings within a minimum of 90 days in advance of your event. Requests for video greetings are limited to one (1) annually, per requesting individual/organization. Requests will be reviewed upon receipt and will receive a follow up submission form for more information to advance your request.
