On behalf of the Far Western Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Welcome!

I am honored to serve as the Far Western Regional Director to over 5,000 members spanning nine states; Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. The Far Western Region is the largest geographic region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, fueled by the dedication of talented individuals with a shared commitment to sisterhood and service to all mankind.

Since 1921, the Far Western Region has aligned with the vision of our illustrious founders by continuing to uphold the standard of excellence through innovative programs and dedication to local communities. The vision of our Founders is deeply embedded in our commitment to build a stronger, more vibrant sisterhood, and create a culture of inclusion that enables Sorors from all generations to show up authentically.

Under the leadership of our International President and CEO, Danette Anthony Reed, we have implemented five program initiatives of Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood, which include:
