As International President & Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, she leads an organization of more than 390,000 members dedicated to advancing “Service to All Mankind.” Her distinguished career in government affairs, planning, and community development has helped shape transformative initiatives throughout the City of Atlanta while uplifting communities through strategic leadership and advocacy.

A proud Life Member, Legacy, and Golden member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Mrs. Jacks’ sorority leadership spans over 50 years of dedicated service. From leading international committees to spearheading a historic membership reactivation initiative that renewed the commitment of more than 17,000 members, she has consistently strengthened the bonds of sisterhood across generations. Initiated at the Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Savannah State University and later transferring to the Alpha Chapter at Howard University, she continues to inspire women through mentorship, leadership development, and a commitment to organizational excellence.

As a member of Lambda Epsilon Omega for over 35 years, Mrs. Jacks has held several key leadership positions, including President, Secretary, Treasurer and Graduate Advisor. As a result of her commitment to leadership and the sisterhood, the members of Lambda Epsilon Omega have elected Ms. Jacks as “Member of the Year” five times during her tenure as a member.
