Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is preparing to launch its historic 2026–2030 International Program initiative with the debut of the first “Champion Impact Moment”—a large-scale, wraparound service activation designed to demonstrate the power of collective impact through scholarship, sisterhood, and service. This event will take place on August 28-August 29, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Under the leadership of International President & CEO Charletta Wilson Jacks, the Champion Impact Moment will serve as a signature mobilization effort that activates all program target areas through coordinated community engagement experiences across the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta area. The initiative will bring together members of the International Program Committee, local chapters, volunteers, community partners, and residents for a day and season of transformative action.
The Champion Impact Moment is envisioned as more than a service project. It is a movement designed to create visible, measurable, and sustainable impact while showcasing the collective strength of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® and its commitment to Service to All Mankind.
The inaugural activation will feature collaborative projects aligned with the sorority’s eight international target areas and signature program. Activities will be strategically implemented with partners throughout Atlanta metropolitan area, including schools, families, seniors, youth organizations, and nonprofits.
