Tembi Locke, a New York Times best-selling author, is a screenwriter, producer, entrepreneur and thought leader in creativity and resilience. Her memoir, From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily, and Finding Home, was adapted into the Netflix series “From Scratch,” which earned six NAACP Image Award nominations and a Los Angeles Film Italy award.
 
Ms. Locke, along with her sister and production partner, Attica Locke, have an overall agreement to produce with Universal Television. With 60+ film/TV credits, including Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever,” Ms. Locke is a TEDx speaker, podcast host, and caregiver advocate.
 
She launched her podcast, “Lifted,” which features dynamic women sharing their stories of what and who lifted their lives. Her aim is to inspire resilience, love, and community through storytelling.
