Attica Locke is a New York Times best-selling author of six novels. Her latest book, Guide Me Home, will be published in September, and is part of the Highway 59 trilogy which also includes Heaven, My Home and Bluebird, Bluebird, which won the Edgar Award for Best Novel.
 
She is a winner of the Harper Lee Prize for Legal Fiction, the Ernest Gaines Award, and was shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction and nominated for an LA Times Book Prize as well as an NAACP Image Award.
 
Ms. Locke is also a screenwriter and television producer, with credits that include “Empire,” “When They See Us,” and the Emmy-nominated “Little Fires Everywhere”. She co-created, with her sister, Tembi, and executive produced “From Scratch” for Netflix.
