The establishment of this new chapter represents a significant advancement in the organization’s mission to strengthen communities through impactful programs, transformational leadership, and meaningful engagement. As Alpha Kappa Alpha continues to grow its international footprint across 15 nations and territories, the chartering reflects the Sorority’s dedication to increasing its presence in regions where service, advocacy, educational support, and sisterhood can create lasting and measurable impact.
The new Nassau chapter will serve as a powerful extension of the Sorority’s legacy of “Service to All Mankind,” expanding opportunities to address critical community needs throughout New Providence through initiatives focused on education, health awareness, economic empowerment, family support, environmental sustainability, cultural awareness, and civic engagement.
