Carol R. Dixon

Carol R. Dixon served with distinction as the 25th Far Western Regional Director of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® from 2016 to 2020. Her leadership journey reflects a deep commitment to service and sisterhood across multiple levels of the organization. She previously served as Chapter President of Rho Delta Omega (2009–2011), Boule General Chairman (2012), and Far Western Region Sister Network Chairman (2013). Her influence extended internationally through her work on the Membership Committee (2014–2016) and later as Corporate Strategic Partners Committee member and Pandemic Task Force Committee member (2020–2022).

A distinguished Human Resources Executive in the technology industry, Carol is widely recognized for her visionary leadership and commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. She currently serves as Chief People Officer and Vice President of Strategic Partners for Bridge 2 Technologies, where she leads transformative initiatives that strengthen organizational culture and strategic collaboration.

Her career spans academia and corporate leadership, including service as an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University, teaching Human Resources Information Systems. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, The Links, Incorporated, NAACP, and SHRM, reflecting her deep engagement in professional and civic communities.

A dedicated community leader, she serves as President of the Silicon Valley African American Cultural Center, Board Member of the San José State Tower Foundation, Vice President of YWCA Silicon Valley Golden Gate, and Co‑President of the SJSU Black Alumni Network. Her contributions have earned numerous honors, including the Northern California Human Resources Executive of the Year Award (2014), MLK Drum Major Leadership Award (2018), NCBW Women of the Year Advocacy Award (2022), YWCA Tribute to Women Honoree (2022), Women of Influence Honoree – Silicon Valley Business Journal (2024), AACSA Power 100 Leadership Award (2025), and Women of Influence Honoree – Cerese D’ Magazine (2026).

Within Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, she has been celebrated with the Mildred L. Robinson Chapter President of the Year Award (2011), Ida L. Jackson Leadership Award (2014), and multiple recognitions as a Leadership Seminar Presenter and “Sister That Rocks” Award recipient.

Beyond her professional achievements, she finds joy in reading, fitness, travel, and shopping, and actively participates in philanthropic events such as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk, Mudderella, UNCF Walkathon, YWCA Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, and Memorial Sloan‑Kettering Cancer Center Cycle for Survival.

She is married to Charles S. Hull and proudly celebrates her family legacy alongside her sisters, Dr. Denise Algood, MD, and Pamela Crittenden, both members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
