No matter what language, we welcome you to the official website of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Ingenious International Region!  I am Mrs. Carrie J. Clark and I am humbled and honored to represent the members of this illustrious sorority who drive our passion for sisterhood and service around the globe.  The International Region has grown since its establishment in 1957.  Our graduate and undergraduate members work diligently in communities representing eleven countries:  Liberia, the Bahamas, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Germany, South Korea, Bermuda, Japan, Canada, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and Nigeria.

Under the leadership of our International President and CEO Ms. Danette Anthony Reed, we look forward to implementing the program initiatives of “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood.” We will strengthen our sisterhood, empower our families, build our economic wealth, enhance our environment, advocate for social justice, and uplift our local community. We are a region that is  ready to “soar” from shore to shore.

It is our honor to be representatives of the vision established by nine young women in 1908 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. Not only that, we will carry the vision, nurture the vision and grow the vision in our respective communities and countries around the world.  Without limits and without boundaries the Ingenious International Region is committed to being of “service to all mankind.”
