Previously, Mrs. Davis-Betserai served as the Great Lakes Representative to the International Program Committee and as the Great Lakes Regional Program Chairman. Additionally, she served as the Great Lakes Regional Coordinator for the Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation®, where she was a member of the foundation’s Human Resources Committee, its Program, Scholarships and Awards Committee, as well as a Scholarship Judge for the foundation. Mrs. Davis-Betserai has used her vast knowledge as a presenter for numerous sorority conference workshops including Boule, Leadership Seminar, Regional Conferences, and Cluster Conferences.

On the regional level, she served as the 88th Great Lakes Regional Conference Sponsorship Committee Chairman, and as Michigan Cluster Conference Chairman. At the chapter level, her leadership was on full display as chapter president, vice president, and foundation chairman.  Over the years, Mrs. Davis-Betserai has demonstrated her long-standing commitment to governance, leadership development, and chapter excellence.

Meanwhile, her experience doesn’t stop with the sorority.  She has extensive experience in global, corporate and organizational management.  She is the owner of an insurance agency in Canton, Michigan.  She is also the founder and executive director of She Warriors Foundation which is dedicated to supporting and empowering female veterans.  She also leads a leadership development and motivational speaking firm.

As you can imagine, Mrs. Davis-Betserai has received numerous awards for her service and community involvement including the Diamond Community Leader Award from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America for community leadership and service.  She was also named a Michigan Chronicle Woman of Excellence, and was the recipient of the Michigan Works Impact Award.

Mrs. Davis-Betserai is clearly someone who leads by example, demonstrates the power of service and does all she can to “define greatness”.
