Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated’s undergraduate members come together to aid the water emergency in Jackson, MS. More than 1000+ sorority members from Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama will convene in Birmingham, AL this weekend for the Undergraduate Roundup Summit.
The undergraduate members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated South Eastern Region are joining efforts to help relieve the water crisis in Jackson, MS. The members from the three-state region will be donating bottles of water for the affected region. The drop-off will be the registration area at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex. The undergraduate members of the South Eastern Region are students enrolled in colleges and universities throughout Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. The students desired to aid the residents and college students affected by the flooding in Jackson. The Undergraduate Roundup Summit engages students in education and fellowship to support the sorority’s mission of service and sisterhood.
