Black History Month Program Featured Diverse Educational Segments

Highlights of the event included: “Little Known Black History Fact” segment featuring family facts from OEO sorors; tributes to Amanda Gorman and Cicely Tyson; demo of playing black spirituals only on the black keys of the piano; and a “MARKITUP” step-
ping performance. The program was educational and entertaining. Guest
recording artist Eric Taylor, the Gospel Violinist, performed. Soror Angela Reed served as moderator, Madam Regional Director, Carrie J. Clark brought greetings and former Regional Directors, Sorors Charlene Truitt Nelson and Phyllis Robinson, PhD were in attendance.
