New Chapter Chartering
Central Regional Director, Kiahna W. Davis, is pleased to congratulate the members of the newly chartered Upsilon Rho chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® at Governors State University. Congratulations to the ladies of Lambda Tau Omega chapter on this historic chartering. Upsilon Rho makes history as the first Black Greek Letter Organization at Governors State University. 2023 Central Region Scholarship
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Central Region announces a newly-created scholarship to assist undergraduate members in the region.

Theta Omega Chapter Virtual History Museum
Created as part of the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Theta Omega Chapter, the virtual museum enhances one’s knowledge and appreciation of the past in its observance of the historical significance of both Chapter and Soror achievements and service to mankind. As a living, on-going archiving portal, the virtual museum will also record, celebrate, and preserve present and future Soror and Chapter accomplishments—thus, inspiring present and future generations.
