Denim, Pearls, & Sensational Girls at the 68th Boule in Houston, Texas

July 31, 2018

The theme of “Denim, Pearls & Sensational Girls” was very fitting for the "Sensational" South Central Regional Gathering on Sunday night at the 68th Boule. The host Region filled 3 ballrooms with music, food and special guest entertainment. South Central Regional Director Katina Semien proudly announced that as of July, the South Central Region is now the second largest region in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Afterwards, the DJ kept the party going with several line dance songs like “Wobble”, “Cupid Shuffle” and Uncle Luke’s song “Scarred” that resulted in hundreds of sorors strolling around the ballrooms. The special guest entertainer was South Central’s very own Pink & Green Indian who will lead the 2nd line band at our Regional Conference in New Orleans in 2019.
