Chapter alumna and daughters of Howard University will celebrate a rich history and legacy and present a message that Alpha Chapter members continue to accomplish the goals established by the original members of the chapter and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
From the U.S. capital—the Sorority’s birthplace—more than 20,000 members of Alpha Kappa Alpha will tell our communities, the nation and the world the story of twenty women who started a movement, which changed the course of history and advanced a people. This celebration will be an unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience of a sisterhood honoring “100 Years of Service” and re-dedicating its time, talents and treasures to the vision of its Founders.
